Inspiration:
The wind eases into silence and a solitary call of a loon fills the air as we paddle through the channel... an ethereal call that rises up from between the small islands into the cloudless summer sky. As we glide closer, we observe several loons fishing. They dive periodically, bubbles coming to the surface.
